Paraguay residence costs: what a written quotation should include

Know what the residency fee covers, who does the work and which practical arrangements need a separate budget.

A residence budget is useful when it explains what is included and who does the work. A fixed fee is clearest when the proposal sets out the applicants, work and expenses it covers. Request those details before committing.

Understand what the fee covers

Component Questions for the proposal
Advisory and coordination Which deliverables and stages does the fee cover?
Government charges Which authority’s charge applies, and when is it paid?
Documents and translations Which originals, legalisation, certified copies and translations are included?
Independent professionals Who provides the work, and is it included in the package?
Travel and follow-up Which attendance is required, and what happens if further evidence is requested?

Do not convert a government tariff into a permanent dollar amount without stating the date and conversion assumptions. A family quote should specify each applicant and any dependent-specific work. Latin Privilege Advisory’s fixed residency package includes all residency costs for one individual and one residency application: coordination, local legal work, government charges, required document preparation, translations and apostilles. See the pricing and service scope for the package and separately quoted services.

Check the application, identity card and later status separately

The migration authority’s temporary-residence procedure describes a personal, in-person application, temporary residence for up to two years and access to an identity-card procedure. That does not establish a universal number of visits or guarantee approval by a particular date.

Prepare a document inventory using the current official requirements. Check identity documents, civil-status records and relevant criminal-record certificates, together with validity, legalisation and translation requirements. Requirements depend on the applicant; an old checklist copied from another case is not enough.

Agree what happens after submission

Ask who tracks the case, who receives requests for further information, and which follow-up work is included. Temporary residence, the cédula and a later permanent-residence application are distinct steps. The authority’s absence guidance also distinguishes temporary and permanent categories.

The practical deliverable should be a dated roadmap showing documents, responsibilities, dependencies and costs.
